The Orthodox Fellowship of St. John the Baptist (OFSJB) was founded in 1979, and works with the blessing of the local Orthodox hierarchs. The Fellowship aims to promote the practice of the Orthodox Christian faith by encouraging contacts among all the members of the Orthodox Churches in Great Britain and Ireland, and those from overseas who express an interest in the events organised. These events are also open to those interested in the Orthodox faith. Members of the Orthodox Church are welcome to join the Fellowship’s mailing list, and receive the biannual journal called Forerunner, by contacting the membership secretary (contact details on the OFSJB website). As well as this, being a member of the Fellowship means that you are eligible for reductions for the events. Events are organised by both the main and 20s-30s committees of the Fellowship. 20s-30s events are published on this website. The Fellowship is a registered charity number 1063713 in the U.K.
